I grew up in a musical family. I took piano lessons and started learning the trumpet when I was eleven years old. I wanted to be the best, but I was awful. After a year of terrorizing my family with the dulcet tones of my trumpet, I picked up a French horn, sounded noticeably better, and never looked back.
Middle School Band is a personal exploration of what it looks and sounds like to play music at a young age. It's bad. It's painful. It's loud.
